??? Eisa Configured HD via USB w/ Xp x64 - Unmountable

To make a long story short this was my original HD in my Acer laptop. Currently it's in a Vantec 2.5 external enclosure & connects via USB. The problem I'm having is I can't do any thing with the drive. It shows up under disk manager but that is about it. Here is a picture of what it looks like:

Any one have ideas on how to get access to this drive?

that might be due to the laptop's hard drive is used to be used in the system with EISA configuration, and the EISA config/data is still exist in the drive.

try using a third party partitioning software from a bootable floppy disk or CD (likes Paragon Partition Manager/Hard Disk Manager/Drive Backup or Acronis Disk Director), and to see if the drive include all partitions on it can be detected and the partitions can be removed and recreated by the software.

you can first check and see only (without actually removing the partitions) and post back, so i may then have some more info to add to it.
