It starts with 4 colors!
Hi.
I don't know what to do anymore. My windows starts every time with only 4 colors which can't be changed better. I have to do system restore every time I open my computer. Is it some kind of a virus? I've scanned my computer thoroughly with Avast and it can find some different files which it can't quarantine, but I've had that kind of files on my computer before also. Can it be because of those files or something else? I have WinXP and SiS 651 display driver. Thank you. |

Looks like some problem with the display driver, try to reistall it (if you didn't do it already).
I assume the SiS 651 is some kind of integrated graphics controller? I have never heard of it. |

1. Download and install the latest Motherboard/Chipset Drivers for your system. 2. Once you do #1, reboot and then install the latest drivers for the SiS video adapter. That should be available from the same source as the Mobo/Chipset drivers. As you don't mention which motherboard you're using, you'll need to Google for it if you know which mobo you have. Otherwise, download and run BeLarc Advisor to get a full detail of your system. Good luck! |
