Computer Will Not Boot Into Safe Mode
hi all, been a while i know but atm Sky's net service hasn't been the best to say the least!
just now i decided to update my ATI drivers for my x800gt from 7.1 to 7.2 and my Realtek AC'97 drivers from 3.94 to 3.98. So i've uninstalled my graphics card drivers and my sound card drivers. I rebooted to go into safe mode so i can use drivercleaner before i install the new drivers but no matter how many times i press F8 at startup my pc takes no notice and carries loading xp as normal. I know my keyboard works at boot as i can enter the BIOS settings fine and when i press f8 too many times i can hear BIOS bleeps coming from my pc. So how do i get safe mode back? Have i accidentaly disabled something meaning safe mode is disabled? Cheers Cube623
