IE7 problems

Hey,

I've been having problems with IE7. I keep getting this error:

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 7.0.6000.16441 ModName: shell32.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2900.3051 Offset: 003d9c66

Every time I click to open IE I get that. Then sometimes when I restart it works fine. Other times, when I do somthing on a site, Live Mail for example, it will then do it.

I have no clue why this is happening. That message pops up before IE has the chance to open.

It's not a virus, not spyware, etc.

Firefox seems to be working much faster and performes better to. Even this website loads so much faster. IE7 takes forever to load the flash ads on this site, even when it works fine. I actually just installed Fire Fox, and was shocked at just how fast this site loads.

I'd like to know wtf is wrong with IE still though. I don't like there being a problem, and me not fixing it. If it comes to reinstalling windows and formatting screw it. But if any of you know of a fix or what ever please let me know.

Well still pissed off, since I can't know somthing is broken and not fix it lol. I just reinstalled IE7 using the web installer. So fare all is working ok. It may be because of either recent updates, or the two updates MS says could have messed IE up were installed after IE7 was installed. Either way I had uninstalled those updates, and now reinstalled ie. Maybe since IE is now installed after thoseupdates it might work. I don't know just guessing here.
