Pissed !!!!!

Hello all this is my first time here.Ihave just had a new system built, this is it.

AMD AthlonXP 2700 Plus 333MHz fsb Socket A
Addtronics 6896-120-90 cool case
Enermax PWS-550 W
Abit AT7 MAX2 KT400 S-A Raid 6ch-LAN-2XFIRE-USB2.0
Creative Soundblaster Audigy II
1 GIG Corsair 3200C2-PC400-DDR Memory
ATI-Radeon 9700 Pro-128-DDR-3.2 drivers
DX 9.0a
Latest drivers on both vid and sound card
80 GB MAXTOR 7200RPM 8MB CACHE X2-(raid array)
60 GB MAXTOR 7200RPM (backup drive)8.7 ms access
Net Gear Nic card
Win 2000 Pro OS
Cable Connection.

Iam having a terrible time getting it to play a couple of games. The main question I have is this.It is very hard to get this thing to reboot. If you go to start, reboot you have to manuely push the button on the box.Same whenever a program calls for a reboot and I click ok I still have to push the bitton on the box for it to reboot. When one of the games locks up I have to push the button 6-8 times to get it to reboot. Is there something wrong with the system?Shutdown is slow also.I have always had WIN98 and this thing is driving me crazy. Thanks ...

Crash Override is an unknown quantity at this point

reinstall windows

when that happens it usually means that APM and possibly ACPI as well have been disabled.

also make sure that you are not overclocking the video card, cpu, or ram too far

I agree 100% with Crash Override, anytime you install a major piece of hardware do a fresh install however I'd recommend you format everything and start over to get everything working close to perfect.
