WInXP SP2 not want install over installed other version of SP2 - only over SP1

I get XP SP2 1204, but after execute he say - install only on Service Pack 1.

already I have installed SP2 1185.

anybody know how install?

I havent tried this new SP2 build as I had a terrible time with the last one, and im sticking with SP1 atm.

you say it wont let you install over the previous SP2? can you not rollback and install fresh?

but I install 1185 without archiving old.

may be try re-apply sp1 and then sp2, but no all sp1 and sp1a says the same like this sp2 1204.

now try change in registry version of sp (if find)

but this is not right, when sp1 beta - they all can isntall over previos version.

no you cant do that in this beta, you need to uninstall it 1st and not over and over lke b4..
or install on sp1 or rtm. i'd suggest you to make an image of xpsp1 b4 start playing with this beta!
use ghost 2003 for dos.. its the best
