Anyone got working IE3.0 sidebuttons in 2k3 server?

I've got windows 2003 server running very well at the moment and I'm really pleased with it's performance and stability thus far (touch wood). The only gripe I have is that so far I've been unable to get my sidebuttons working on my intellimouse explorer 3 as the cd software will not install on this os; I've tried various ideas like nt and 2k specific mouseware installs and compatability modes (reminds me of installing most drivers in longhorn :P ) but none of them will install. Has anyone managed to get their side buttons working under windows server 2003 yet for this mouse?

if the OS has "Driver Signing Option" in.. system properties/hardware/device manager then try to change it to "Ignore - Install the software anyway..." and then try to installl the driver again

Thanks for the tip, I tried it but still no luck unfortunately. I guess I'll just have to hope that microsoft get a 2003 mouseware set out soonish
