Turn off "clicking" in newest IE

Whenever a new webpage loads in IE, the program makes a small annoying click. Additionally, the warning/notification yellow bar has a really annoying beep. Any way to disable these noises?

I'm not sure but have a look in the system sounds control panel. I usually turn off all system sounds there and haven't been hearing those noises either.

What is your OS?

Under XP go to the control panel (classic view), there click on Sounds and Audio devices.

On the new window that will appear, click on the tab Sounds

Where it says Program Events
scroll down till you find one that says
start navigation
Choose a different sound for it from the drop down menu, or choose "no sound"
Click Apply
Then name it where it says Sound scheme, and click save as.
Click Apply
Click OK
It should be ok for the clicking sound.
The warning beep I don't know what you are talking about, either choose each of the other defaults and click on preview/play to find the same sound and change it, or, I don't know.

Yay the sound is gone! Thanks for pointing me to the sounds section, now I can turn off other annoyances too.
Edit: The beep was windows explorer pop up blocked sound. Ah the silence is sweet.
