'Send to any folder' for XP?
In Win98 there was a powertoy (send to X) that allowed you to select any folder on your harddrive in your 'Send to...' menu. That powertoy doesn't work in XP. Is there a utility to add this to XP? In many cases, this was an extremely useful tool and I'd like to have it back to use in XP. I have powertoys for XP, but it doesn't have this feature in it that I can see.
EDIT: I found it. Naturally after making this post I ran acrossed it. ![]() Anyway, for anyone else interested, I found it here: http://www.aumha.org/regfiles.php Last edited by Rayder; Apr 27, 2003 at 02:35 AM. |

Just put the shortcut of whatever you want to send to and put it in the C:\Documents and Settings\your username\SendTo folder

Thanks, fornicatarachnid, I found it just a few minutes after posting that. I edited the original post. It's a different method, but it acheived the results I wanted. What I was looking for was the little 'powertoy' that when you right-clicked on a file, and you selected 'Send to...', it would have "any folder" as a selection so I could send it to wherever I needed it to go.
