Default Post How to un-corrupt the System Info file

Hello again,

Ever since I've heard that MS fixed the refresh rate problem in WinXP with their Windows updates, I've been trying to verify this by going into 'system info' from Start-->Accessories-->System Tools. But everytime I do, a little glass hour briefly appears and just disappears. In another forum, they told me to search for the file manually by:

Go to Start/Search and type C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\msinfo32.exe

Well, I've found the file but clicking on it still won't work. If this file has been corrupted, what can I do to restore it?
