Choppy Video
I HAVE A P3 700 AMD 256M WIN XP PRO .WHEN I PLAY A MOVIE ON THE DVD ROM IT GETS CHOPPY. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!

Well start by telling what video card you have. Then it would be easier helping you.

You need to enable DMA access to your DVD drive. PowerDVD allows you to change this setting within it's diagnostic program - don't know about others

yeah, and if the BIOS doesn't help, try setting your DVD tot none in BIOS settings. WinXP should automatically setup the drive.

Check device manager and the IDE chanels, make dure that DMA is enabled.
If it isn't, enable it. |
