Try using system restore.
If you look at the calender in system restore you should be able to find out when DX9 was installed and restore your system to before this date. |

I just used a tool from guru3d.com to uninstall DX9, but now when i run dxdiag.exe in the Network things it tells me 4 things r corrupt, shud I go to Windows Update and install DX9 again, for a fresh installation.

DX9 installed with no problems, all devices are fine... now... lets see what 3dmark2001se does, cause I installed it while having DX8.1 and I ran it and it werked, now its most likely gonna give me some bs error.

I heard it is really risky using those DX9 Un-Installers. I wouldn't attempt it without a restore point.
