while multiple keys pressed, last ones dont respond..

i just got a new notebook (hp 8510p, win xp pro sp3) and am experiencing the same problem as i am on another desktop pc - while holding several keys down (during a game - so mainly WSADQEYXCRFV and the arrow keys beside the main function keys) i think the 3rd or 4th key pressed doesnt respond anymore. this is extremely annoying especially when playing games since each key pressed has a good reason for being pressed at that certain moment and if it doesnt work.. :Z

on my old notebook (hp nx9030, win xp pro sp3) i never had those problems - i could hold 9 keys down with 9 fingers and then tip a 10th one with the 10th finger and it worked.

im sure thats a software issue and theres a tweak to solve that..

thanks

Your old notebook had an exceptional keyboard then, as it's unfortunately quite normal for keyboards to behave like you described in the beginning. It has to do with saving costs on the logic chips incorporated into the keyboards signaling design. You could buy a "gaming keyboard" like the Razer Tarantyla and connect it to your notebook.
