Quick launch buttons driver for Toshiba A305-S6839 with Windows XP

I buy a Toshiba Satellite A305-S6839 (with a native Windows Vista Home Premium), but as I don't like Vista I installed the Windows XP Pro. Everything is perfect, expect for the quick launch buttons, that did not work because in Toshiba's support website there is only drivers for Vista. In fact, the only quick launch button that works properly is the mute on/off button. I was thinking that the driver for this buttons is the same for the touchpad, isn't it right? At least in my HP is that way. But after installing the synaptics touchpad driver, only the touchpad works fine. Anyone can help me to solve this issue?
