Background Issue
I am having an issue with changing my backgound. The desktop tab is not even there when you open up the properties. Some pictures you can not right click on and set as the desktop either. I have read through a few other threads to try and find a fix, but none have worked up to this point. Any help would be much appeciated, thanks!

Your image will need to be uploaded to an image hosting site like ImageShack® - Image Hosting for us to see it.
Also detail which version of windows your using, and possibly a screenshot of the processes running in the task manager, in case there's a piece of software causing this. Cheers |

This behavior will occur if Turn on Classic Shell Group Policy setting is configured at User Configuration / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Windows Explorer and the value of the ClassicShell Value Name, a REG_DWORD data type, is NOT set to 0 at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer.
To resolve this issue: 1. Open a CMD.EXE Window. 2. Type the following command and press Enter: REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Po licies\Explorer" /V ClassicShell /T REG_DWORD /F /D 0 or try this http://www.theeldergeek.com/desktop_...om_display.htm |
