Windows XP on it's own Partition?
Benefits? Tips? Suggestions?
Basically, I'm going to have a RAID 0 setup soon and I'll be installing Win XP. How big should the Partition for Windows XP be? I want to give it enough breathing room. Is there a "special" way to do install XP on it's own partition? Or can I just create partition..adjust size and away I go? Anything would be nice

That should not be any problem running 2 systems wtih xp pro on raid 1+0 and 2+0
They are on an promise raid controller 100 tx2 1 20g en 2 60g other system has also 1 20 and 2 40g in it. Both C partitions are 8g and installing programs on partition D on that 20g |

remember to take into account that your swap file should be on that partition. unless you are putting it on a seperate hd. i made mine 5 gigs, gives me some romm for various apps. xp will take a gig by itself. i also copy the xp files to another partition & install from that. habit left over from 9x days when wun would ask you for inst. disc. xp does not seem to need it as much. & yes.. away you go!
