Remove Avatar From Windows XP?

I recently got this acer netbook and it has Windows XP Home SP3. I want to get rid of this ugly avatar. As you will see in the picture i have seen different tutorials, i tried one that told me about re-naming a default picture folder, you know the one! Any ways it only half way worked, anyone else can get me to get rid of it?
