XP Pro Shutdown immediate Restart
I'm sure this has been answered but I can't seem to find the right search terms...
XP PRO when I SHUTDOWN the system immediately RESTARTS... I have tried all the simple things like Power Settings in Control Panel but that's not the problem... Any ideas...? Or please give me a link to known solutions... Thanks in advance... Ed |

Re: XP Pro Shutdown immediate Restart
"Hi,
Try this one. 1)Go to safe mode. 2) My Computer > Properties > Advanced > startup and recovery > system failer (uncheck the box - ""Automatically Restart""). 3) Scan computer for viruses. 4) if not then there may be hardware problem might be RAM or Motherboard. You can also try this info and then reply. techyv.com/questions/windows-xp-machine-keeps-restarting-without-warning |
