Customizing Win98SE
Hey I have been trying to customize Win98 on my own with out the use of 3rd party tools like WindowsBlinds etc. And so far I have been getting along pretty good. I have managed to change allot of the Win98 icons I don't like. Along with changing some other minorstuff here and there that make Win98SE a little more bearable
![]() However I would like to try and alters explorers rather blocky look. Iam thinking the way to go at the momment is an Explorer replacment that is graphicly more pleasing ![]() Does anyone have any suggestions on that what to use? Or know another way of which I can alter the look of Win98 that will not be a resource hog?

Hi there . I love to see people who still use the good old windows 98se
![]() On my site I have a short guide about optimizing windows98se. Gpure go there and then to 'tweaks'. You'll see "modification" (underlined and bold , just above winXP) . Check those 2 sites out to change win98se. Also read my win98se guide on bottom of page, maybe there's some stuff you can use. I especially like 98Lite and Aston , a shell replacement which makes your win98se look really good and it's faster then the ugly explorer from win98se grtz, post in my forum if you want some more info . I dunno if I'll check this |
