Windows Update not working?

I rebuilt my machine this afternoon and when I tried to download the updates from microsoft, none of them will download.

Is windows update down atm?

I have tried to automatically download them but this seems not to work either. I can see all the updates are on the site but when I try to install them, they just click onto the next file and at the end of it, says that they were not installed.

I have now reinstalled windows 3 times to try to get this to work but I get the same result everytime.

Is there another site I can get them from?

Same here. I tried to update a driver for SATA RAID controller from the Windows update yesterday, and it failed to install, and the next time I rebooted my system, my Sil SATA RAID thingy had a yellow exclamation mark by it. I almost freaked when I saw it, because it controls my striped array. Luckily everything still worked, and I rolled back the driver, so no damage done. But still, thanks a bunch Micro$ucks.

Panging, thanks again.

I can now get to see the updates, but I still cant install them. It just bypasses each file and then says that none were installed. I really dont understand why this is happening as all was ok before I rebuilt.

Neon, my system time is fine (its synced with the windows time server) so I'm not sure thats the problem.

try locating your local HDD for a folder name WU or WUTemp,
if you can find it all the files you D/L shoud be in there.
