ok i made 1 disk successfully but when i installed it went fine except it couldnt find wmpui.dll so now i have produced another b**t disk and when it tries to boot it says it cannot find NTLDR what to do now? please?

copy ntldr from your hd's root directory to it.

Have you set that partition as active?; or are you talking 'bout a second HD?
If the latter, check in BIOS if it's set to boot from it; if that's not the case, try the first (if referring to a partition)...
If that's not the case, try doing what Ryoko said...

i must have not explained properly sorry here goes when i set machine to boot from cd it works fine however that b**t cd has missing wmpui.dll file so i attempted to create another b**t cd 7 times and with 7 different cd's when i boot w/ them for clean install it says cant find ntldr so the prob is w/ these latest cd's but what im asking is what am i doing wrong to these cd's so that they wont b**t when i have other xp cd's that will b**t? in other words how can i fix the create cd problem? whats wrong? thanx alot for any suggestions also could someone pm me easy link instructions to slipstream winxp NOT WIN 2000 thanx again

Just copy everything from your C drive to the floppy (ONLY THE MAIN DIRECTORY!! NOT THE FOLDERS)

My advice's you get a working CD and CopyCD it, then try again!

hey thanx alot very well explained. this is not the first time youve bailed me out anyway eversince i replaced the ntldr file w/ the one in my system now and followed these instructions the boot cd went perfectly now soooo thanx again now for the slipstream part i have found many pages of instructions on how to sstream win2000 but none on xp w/ nero...yet
