i'm running XP Corp SP1 1102 and i was wondering if i was to reinstall XP by using the "upgrade" option on the CD would i lose any data or anything like that. also, could someone clarify me on the actual benefits of reinstalling?

Since I'm still XP-phobic, but I'd HIGHLY recomend you back up any important information before attempting ANY major system change. "Safe" is a hell of a lot better than "sorry", I've learned that one the hard way more than once.

(if you search @ MS KB you will find 100s of err re "upgrade" or "reinstall" for XP). 001 002 HTH. ; |
