Sounds like you have the 'Devil's Own' copy of WinXP Pro (Pirated). If your cd-key begins with, FCKGW, then you do. Best way to fix this is to buy a legal copy of Windows.

Dom, you seem to have spelled your name incorrectly. Change the "o" to a "u" and add a "b" on the end. Given your intelligent comment, it'll work much better that way!!

What ever happened to honest people? Why can't you cough up the money to pay for something you use?
BTW, trying to insult someone's intelligence with name-calling is childish. What I may lack in intelligence you equally lack in maturity.

c'mon guys, don't flame someone because they tell you to do the right thing. Get your software the legal way, there are many different legal ways. I myself am on easy street at Harvard, but I always seemed to be able to find legal copies before this job. Besides, if you want good free software quit stealing from someone you hate to support anyway and get linux

Default Post There is another way around

To make setup a little bit easier. Try slipstreaming xp service 1 on to a setup disk because I know that it works. Just do not try to goto microsoft for help with putting in your PID number in.

you can easily find it on google somewhere

sorry can not help you because this is a public post.

sorry zardon

later

True, highpingdrifter, but MS does not have a list of serials you can use. Dudes, we here at DH have a few rules to enforce and follow; don't get mad when people abide by the rules.

Default Post Well that keygen that everyone is talking about really works

I just wanted to make this clear. Microsoft has really worked on it software, but someone - somewhere - always finds a leak in their software to get around the activation.

UberEdit: Please, not even basic pointers
