memory could not be read... in winXP
i have a strange problem that sometimes when i close different windows for ex. IE, mIRC, Ventrilo etc.. and even sometimes when i play doom3 i get a warning text that says: the memory could not be "read" ... i have searched my ass of for the solution.. So does anyone here have had similar problems? ... All Help is granted!

try getting a memory test tool, it could be one of your memory sticks is faulty, in that case youd need a replacement.
other than that the only things i can think of is that you're overclocking too much, but you didnt specify that

i have replaced the memory and the same prolem and nope i havent clocked my putter anything.. it spins like a cat.

Recently I had a lot of "... at 0x000000. The memory could not be "read" " coming almost every time I closed an application..Booted into safe mode, didn't change a thing, booted back into 'real' mode and it disappeared. Good luck - It's usually bad ram..

i did a system restore from an early one... and wop the problem solved

glad to hear you fixed it
...for future reference try runnign a memory optomizer (freeramX Xp Pro is my favorite..and its freeware) and u won't have half the probems u would otherwise
