i have seen an increase of 50-100% in my bootup time since installing. anybody else?
the variation is what bugs me the most. sometimes it is only a little bit slower, most of the time is it is about 50%(subjective) slower. sometimes it really hangs. to the point where i am looking down to see if there is any hd activity & if i need to hit reset. if anybody else has experienced this & knows a/the fix please let me know. before installing xp2 i had a very fast bootup.

how do you slipstream? seen it all over the net, never bothered to check it out.
i have so many tweaks, progs, games, cutomisations, that i really want to avoid a clean install. files & settings transfer does wonders but.... bty this is the only prob i am having with sp2. think ms did a good job. did i really just say that?
