Hey, it actually is leaked.. have it running @ the moment.. Looks kinda the same, but has indeed changes, haven't played around with it really..

Note this is build version 7.0.0205
The latest build is 7.0.0209 .. sofar it actuall runs more stable then the 6.0 beta..

i'll pass the files sousres don't seem reputable enogh, to easy to have modified files... etc ...MSN messanger normally comes as an .EXE ot a MSI

by looking at the info if look like someone besides ms packed it
no offence but i'm weary of this package... I'll skip this one

doesn't look like we have to wait long anyways

i didn;t like it

its got some performance bugs

lol performance bugs in a chat program lol

i got like 100 contacts and its really slow when scrolling down,... also theres no messenger plus support yet so i removed it,.....

also,.. public beta release should be very soon,.. like monday US time from what i read...

Hey Neon

It's always an MSI packed in an EXE

extract the usual setup_dl.exe file that you get from MS and youll see it

What sort of performance issues are you having?

I'm running it on a laptop with a mobile P4 2.2GHz on battery power right now and everything seems to work fine here.

"After what seemed to be the shortest Microsoft leak, Microsoft has put an end to MSN Messenger 7 beta toll, for now.

After about a few weeks of the leak, no more users can login to MSN Messenger 7 anymore. If you try, you will get a prompt asking to upgrade to a newer version of Messenger, which in terms is a downgrade, to 6.2. You will have to un-install version 7.0 to re-install 6.2, as you will get an error about a later version of messenger already installed on your computer. It is said that Microsoft will ship the next beta, without the winks and nudges. After the wink exploit, many downgraded to 6.2. Read more here. More info will be posted, on MSN Messenger 7 BETA. "

We can't use it anymore.

they are wrong, cuz i can. got a nice little patch that takes care of that.

the fulnerability is still in MSN 7. so be careful when using.
