Friend Disabled all users on comp help
Built a comp for a friend and windows said he had 8 users on his comp.. he didn't realize till afterwards that adminstrator and others were basic users.. and disabled all of them including himself.
I can get into repair console but dont know how to add users their or to enable users as well. i am trying to avoid a reformat, but if i can manage to save the profile saved passwords to another form of media i can reformat. if not.. i gotta try to do what i can to restore the user. any help is appreciated.. thanx

If you do a windows xp repair off the disc it should preserve files and applications, but passwords and such will be reset providing access into the pc. Its like installing a fresh copy without the fresh copy. create a new user through setup and should be golden.
