HELP: Problems downloading after installing SP2
I had no problems before w/SP1 installed, I can download w/no problems. (i have installed/uninstalled SP2 3 times) samething happens. NO DOWNLOADS!
Everytime I try to download (w/SP2 installed) it just STOPS! at 97-99% of every file I try to download. any ideas would be helpful... Thanks Last edited by 5*General; Oct 19, 2004 at 06:50 PM. |

Why don't try to request a CD for microsoft?

Try clearing both of the TEMP folders, the one on your profile and the one in :\WINDOWS,
also clear all files in the TIF folder. if this does not help, and IF you have done any registry tweaked before then check your DefaultReceiveWindow registry value setting, if it's set too high then lower the registry value down and see. |

maybe make sure all your services n such r on, kinda like a default XP SP 1 settings b4 installing SP2, sounds like its dwnloading it all but gets confused when movin from the temp stash folder to the spot you pick. any special configs or tweeks of your prior SP1 setup??
