Can Not Install DX 9.0c...."did not copy required file" error
HI
This is nuts. Was installing new game (Men of Valor) and was given a message during the attempt to insall DX 9.0c. "did not copy required file." Currently have 9.0b DX installed. So, tried going to Microsoft and install DX9c from there. Same thing. Tried uninstalling DX (using utility from Major Geeks for uninstal of DX) and did so Rebooted, removed all DX reg entries. Tried instaling DX9c and same thing..... in the middle of installation, the stated message appears... Thank God for "GoBack." any help? Specs: Dell 8100, P4 2.8 Audigy2 Gamer MSI 9800 Pro WIN ME (I know....but has not been bad for me) |
