?my Cdrom_drives

My drives stoppt showing the cd contents/label in the windows explorer when I insert any cd or dvdrom.. Any suggestions please.(winXP_SP2)

1) if you've installed/used any tweaker program or the powertoys's tweakUI check this program out, look for the option for disabling CD's autorun/play, if it is checked, then uncheck it, and you may have to reboot your PC before you can see the changes.

2) go to your CD drives in My Computer, R-click on the drive icon and select Properties, then choose your desired action for each type of CD at the AutoPlay tab.

You can also try the Autorun Repair Wizard from Microsoft if you need to.
