Desktop Wallpaper Help

Ok - so i have this really cool wallpaper i have on my desktop that i really like...

Thing is when i found it on the web i didnt save it to .jpg or watever and now i cant find the site i got it off, i want to change wallpapers but i still want to keep the one i have now currently on my desktop...

Is there somewhere in Windows that stores wallpaper files?

have you tried opening the image into an editor,select file then 'save as' option.sholud be able to convert it to a jpg..

how exactly do i do this...

the wallpaper is a .jpg when i found it on the site, i right clicked "set as background" and forgot to also do "save image as"

if you mean you don't know where's the image that your've saved by selecting "Set As Background" option from your R-click menu then it is saved in the below dir, and the name of the image and its file extension has been changed by Windows to "Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp"

\Documents and Settings\< your Windows Login name >\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

I used Mozilla Firefox to "Set as Background"...

Firefox changed the image file name/extension to "Firefox Wallpaper.bmp" and saved it in \WINDOWS
