Opera's ini files tweaks.

5) add right-click context menu to go to www.hardwareheaven.com
note-- you'll need atleast one tab or blank page to see/use this right-click command.

backup first and then open the "standard_skin.zip" or any skin that you use with WinRar,
then edit the "skin.ini", add the following line under the section [Images]..

[Images]
Dh = icons/dh.png

then place the "dh.png" file (save the DH image here )in the folder called "icons", save and repack the file.

and then open up your "....menu.ini" and add the following line to it.

[Document Popup Menu]
Item, "www.hardwareheaven.com" = Go to page, "http://www.hardwareheaven.com/",,,Dh
--------------------1

--

6) Edit "search.ini" to add Search DH.net site via Google.

you can perform web searches in the address field,
type in : dh followed by a space then the search terms.
entering 'dh no_style' will search for No_Style using the Google search engine

Backup first and then add the following lines in to the search.ini (XX is the last location in search.ini)

[Search Engine XX]
Name=Search DH site via Google
URL=http://www.google.com/search?as_q=%s&as_sitesearch=driverheaven.net
Query=
Key=dh
Is post=0
Has endseparator=0
Encoding=iso-8859-1
Search Type=3
Verbtext=17063
Nameid=0
Position=-1

If you want to show the optional search box on Personal bar change the line "Position=-1" to Position=1
or add/remove it by right-clicking on the bar then choose "Show searchs".

7) Launch your favorite "Utilities" or folders from the menu bar and from the Opera's icon in system tray.

add the following lines to the ..menu.ini

Code:
[Browser Menu Bar]
Submenu, "Utilities", Utilities Menu

[Tray Popup Menu]
Submenu, "Launch Utilities", Utilities Menu
--------------------1

[Utilities Menu]
Item, "EmEditor" = "Execute Program, "E:\Program Files\EmEditor\emeditor.exe",,,"emeditor""
Item, "IrfanView" = "Execute Program, "< full path to the .exe >",,,"iview32""
Item, "WinRar" = "Execute Program, "< full path to the .exe >",,,"winrar""
Item, "IDMan" = "Execute Program, "< full path to the .exe >",,,"idman""
--------------------1
Item, "Opera Profile Folder" = Execute program, "< full path to your Opera profile folder >", , "Profile", "Window Browser Icon""

proxo = icons/proxo.png
emeditor = icons/emeditor.png
idman = icons/idman.png
winrar = icons/winrar.png
iview32 = icons/iview32.png
Dh = icons/dh.png

anyone still using the Opera 7.54u1 final,
the latest release is now version "7.54u2".

---------------

Opera's ini files tweaks...

9) Adds vBulletin Code to right-click context menu.

here's how the menu looks..

add the following lines to the ...menu.ini
note-- all of the Smilies entries are for DH forum.

----i'll have to find a way to post these entries.
----i don't think i can post it. too much work.

[Color=Gold]==========TEST Only===========[/color]

10) If you have never done any change to the Opera's ini files and want to do it, so you know if you backup all of the standard_xxxxx.ini files before making the changes, then you won't break anything. these tweaks are just for presenting ideas, there're a lot more. so check it out for yourself. and allow the Opera to give you more power, and having more fun using it.
you can have fast access to your favorite commands or may be all commands from main bar, navigation bar, start bar or from the toggle view bar or even from right-click context menus.
