Both IE and Firefox Crashing...

yes its for sure not a browser problem, this has happened in Firefox, IE, Opera, Netscape, etc...

I am gonna go try the roll-back right now, ill post back in a few.

...i roll-backed wmp 10 to wmp 9. Then Restarted the computer. Tried to view a streaming video in the browsers, all crash and close on all browsers...

lol, take it easy. this problem has been posted on many support sites as i've seen, and most of them are left unanswered. no answer yet, afaik.
i don't know what to look into atm. besides, a new install of everything that i don't think i'd need to do that now. but, be patient and keep look around, the answer can/will be comes up soon. i think.

try Run... regsvr32 /u wmpshell.dll
and Run... regsvr32 wmpshell.dll

what do i do after i run that in run??...

Run those commands to unregister and to register the DLL,
about 5 registry keys will be re-created. i don't know if it helps, but try that.
