WindowsXP Professional x64 Bugs/Issues?

I installed it a couple of days ago. I've been having some issues and I'd like to know if other people are having these, and maybe some other. I'd also like to know if these are bugs or my own problems that have solutions.

Applications won't run from the WinXP x64's partition, but work fine from others. Examples: Catalyst beta 4 package and 3DMark05 patch.

Although I was using an administrator account, I was unable to successfully finish display driver installation until I logged in as Administrator (the built-in account).

Yes, I've got version 1289 RC1.

the 2 things i had trouble with were Mirc and Spybot S&D

and they installed fine but using the app itself just goes to 100% CPU usage
