How to Slipstream xphome sp1.1 cd with sp2 cd update into one big dvd setup?
Is there a way put all one setup under one big dvd? my cds are getting marks on them and stuff thats what I'm worry about one day might not work again couple years heh. I just want know how to slipstream my gateway xp home sp1 and sp2 cd into one dvd
make much easyer setup that way. please reply thanks.

erg.... i've found OEM version of XP sometimes impossible to slipstream without having some weird things happen. It's alos not a good idea to use those disk on for example.... another machine if you happen to sell the current machine but keep XP...
You can do a quick search on google for "Windows XP SP2 Slipstream Guide".... the elder geek may come up.. they are pretty good to follow.. and i can only suggest one thing that comes to mind if you attempt it..... KEEP THE SAME VOLUME LABEL that your orginal cd is. Additionally, when you slipstream, it should still fit on a 700mb disk.. i'd also suggest that you make sure it's a disc at once burn and that it's a CD-R Other then that... follow the guides... they worked flawlessly for me.....

I found at neowin it's called autostreamer it works great try it Judas

Glad you got it, and yes, DVD can be done.
With a DVD you can even slipstream office to install along with windows. |
