Its me again, i just recently added some extra RAM to my system and (to no surprise) its been acting aliitle strange. Certain things i do like using email, opening text documents, ect. will often crash the system, sometimes a instant reboot, somtimes a blue screen error. I was hoping someone could give the correct BIOS settings so everything runs without trouble ?
Im currently using a Tyan KT400 S2495 motherboard. The settings i need are as follows: DRAM Timing: ? Precharge to Active (Trp): ? Active to Precharge (Tras): ? Active to CMD (Trcd): ? DRAM Command Rate: ? Does anyone know what these setting do, and mean ? |

Normally this is automatically set by your bios. It may be that your stick of ram is faulty as i have had a similar problem for example zip files corrupting for no reason and bSoD's more often than not. I replaced my ram and now it has no problems what so ever. I suggest you ask a friend if you can borrow some of their ram and see if it's the problem
