how you write 0s to your hard drive

i want to know how to write 0s and stuff to my hd. can you give me a step by step guide. i know i have asked alot of questions. i havent used a F disc so you might need explain that part. thank you

useally your hard drives utillity available your you hard drive makeer we page does it best..
it's known as low level formating.. erases everything

or are you talking about secure eraseing with out wipeing your entire drive?
