Sad System Restarts on its own...

[color=#ffffff][color=white]Hi all... My Computer restarts on its own in the middle of a Download... (iTunes) I went to iTunes.com to get iTunes and then I started Downloading it and like in the middle of the Download in Just restarts out of no where...No Signs... No nothing... it just Restarts... Happen to me Twice Same Exact thing... So the therd time I was in my Desktop I dint Try to Download it... and it Doesnt restart...But I do get an error message talking about..."Windows has recovered froma serious error or sometihng like that... So I'm thinking maybe it was Windows or Something...So any of you Guys have any Idea what it might have been?[/color] [/color]

Hi there.

Would like to help but I'm afraid the font and colour you have used there is unreadable on a crt monitor.
It might be a good idea to change it back to standard and then more people will be able to read your post.

update your intel chipset drivers to the correct, latest version.

Out of interest, what power supply you using?

Well From what I've heard my PSU is a POS...Its the one that came with the Case... RaidMax 420Watt... I'am Planning on getting the Ultra XConnect...Because its Cheap and I hear people say it Runs pretty Good... and thats Pretty Much all I can Afford right now...
About the Chipset Driver Updates... Where could I get those... I installed the Drivers that came with My Mobo... But it there are newer better one I'd need those huh? Sorry about the whole Font and Color thing I had no Idea... I wont do that again... Thanks for all your replies...

you will be able to find the chipset drivers at the intel site.
I had a similar problem with my mobo last year - had the wrong version of the driver installed and the machine was crashing all the time with blue screens.

As for the font and colour thing, dont worry about it - we're all friends here

Make sure to choose the correct OS (I'm assuming you use windows XP)and then download and install.

FYI: PSU's to avoid http://www.hardwareheaven.com/showthre...&highlight=PSU

You need a PSU with a minuim about 24A or higher rateing on the 12V rail
