Get refresh force, it sets your refresh rates at the maximum allowable by your monitor, and only needs to be used once, and never runs after that. Could help if the problem comes back.

Thanks for the tip but I know...
My monitor can support 85Hz up to 1024x768 and then drops to 75Hz. And I am not using larger resolution on my 17" than 1024x767 anyway.
And from one my previous posts, you can notice that I said I am using RefreshForce.
About SP1, yes I have noticed. XP seemed more trouble free before the release of SP1. But I am still using it anyway, I don't want to have one useless cd because I slipstreamed SP1 into XP installation cd.
