install a Hercules Fortissimo 7.1 on XP64

i am about to install Xp64 and have all the drivers i need the only thing i lack is a soundcard driver

does anyone have any idea if somone has modified a driver to work or if theres a beta driver out there somwhere

id like to keep the card as its awesome in all things so a change of card would really be my last choice

fired an email to hercules and had this as a reply

It's time you buy a new sound card....

As about support with Windows XP 64 you will have to wait until these OS be matured and most companies (if not all) start supporting it and create drivers for it
(Unfortunately these may take even a year or forever...and until then Windows Longhorn will be ready)

I hope you have Windows XP 32 also installed
all companies support it and it's the most stable OS right now for all games and programs...something that i can not say with WinXP 64

yup i know all that it would have just been sweet if the driver had been available as in all respects the Hercules is an awesome card and im going to regret the day i can no longer use it

i already have all the drivers i need for the 64bit os so ill probably just use the onboard sound until i get an audigy as for the 32bit im planning on a dual boot and will no doubt use the 32bit os for at leat another 6 months to a year

just going to miss my herc
