I do admit that in dos setups most of the time USB doesn't work, However inn all other instances USB seems to be the best out for periferals.

I see no point in using a USB port when I can use a ps/2. I just have a Logitech cordless navigator mouse and keyboard combo, works fine in ps2. Find no reason to use a USB hub.

But for refresh rates, control and precision.. isn't usb better then the ps2? i got a micro intellimouse explorer, had it plugged in to usb even when i first got the computer.. i got a spare ball track mouse plugged in the ps2 port cos i'm using a kvm switch.. and that would kill my mouse

Use the PS/2 port only and set the virtual machine not to install any USB port controller.
I'm pretty sure it will work, it happened with some releases of .Net too

I usually prefer to use PS2 for my keyboard, and i do on my ASUS, but my ABIT doesn't have PS2 or Serial or Parallel or Game Ports, so USB is the only option

The refresh rate can actually be reset to higher than the 125hz of the USB hub at the cost of slightly more CPU usage - the PS/2 ports can be set to up to 200hz
