Strange Voice in Windows...

I know this may sound extremely wierd to many of you, but i'm having something very strange happen to me in Windows. Everytime I load Morrowind, or something like a PC Gamer CD, i get this really deep voice say "Game Defective". I have no idea where this is coming from, but i should say i have been getting plenty of Klez viruses. But these have always been picked up by Norton Antivirus, and, i have scanned my system, with results saying nothing. Any ideas on what's going on?

Hmm is it possible you've activated the windows narrator? Assuming yer running XP Located in Start/All Programs/Accessories /Accessability/Narrator.
Default voice is Microsoft Sam never activated it to see if it's a "deep" voice.
Now as to the voices in my head that keep telling me to...umm err nevermind

...do you run Rage3d tweaker? There was an ATI tweaker for a while that ran in the background and by default a REALLY low voice said something like "game detected" whenever you'd fire up a game.

yes, i am running Rage Tweaker, and it does sound like that may be the case. About me hearing things...Hmm...i'll have to tell my the voices in my head they have company...

it does this by default when a game loads. there is an option in the panels to disable it (been awhile since I used it, as it wasnt very stable for me). very annoying that is enabled by default.

go use radeonator 2, works better.

Could you imagine if the voice was actually part of some new piracy scheme implemented by Microsoft in the newest Service Packs? It would just sit there and talk to you when it detected a cracked piece of software...
