Cool! Hey, this was gonna be MY post!

I forget where I read it, but it sounded pretty credible. M$ was supposed to release DX9 on the 12th, with ATI & nVidia busting out with some new driver luuuuving to compete on the new 3dm2k2....but for some reason they delayed the release for a week at last minute and re-scheduled it for this Thursday.

And damn it, just as I was getting ready to post this I had to deal with a PM and someone else busts out with me happy news! Dang it! (2 points for you Rob...this time... )

So it sounds like Thursday is going to be an interesting day to say the least! I really think it is going to happen that day, and I think that it's gonna all happen at once. Is there any way we can prepare for it? (MUST go look at GF4s & 9500s today.... "No!!!!, wait 'til after x-mas you idiot!!!" .....shut up you damn voices, shut up! )

I am much more interested in the Drivers and the new 3DMark2k2 then Direct X 9..... I am curious why it's being released when software barely takes advantage of Direct X 8

Buy me Digi and I promise I'll love you for ever and ever! Think of the good times we can have, running 3D Mark again and again whilst you lovingly caress my transistors.

My heat sinks are small and pert - but you have always play rough and change them. Whilst you're there you can remove my stock HSF - slowly. No need to rush these things

Then you can rub me down with your fine grained sand paper. Start slowy at first rubbing across, then the other way, clockwise and counter clockwise. Gradly increase the speed until I'm all bright and shiny - oh yeah baby!

After you eject your artic silver you can rub it in all over - hmmmmmm yeah Afterwards, you can dress me up in a nice Cyrstal Orb and take me to meet your motherboard I'm sure that we'll get on just fine.

Digi - I can't wait! BUY ME NOW BIG BOY!!!

I'm a betatest for DX9 and we don't even know when its going to be released officially. All I know is that all the rumors are pretty much wrong.

Oh and Uber you scare me sometimes

Yeah and the very shortly previous to that they'll be releasing DX9, 3dm2k2, and drivers from nVidia & ATI that improve performance 4000%.

You need more realistic goals, LOL

Linux taking over the world, rather that than Mr Burns

DIGI, was on a thread doing something else, on Video BUD
Nvidia all the way BUD, GF4, grab it, a lot better than that ATI CRAP

cant remember the thread, too tired to check again, Gnite
Just to DAMN busy this time of year, too be helpful

All I can say, is Nvidia, all the way, on prancer, on vixen, on doner, on Nvidia, grab it
