Ahh, Sound Forge by Sonic Foundry is great, Cakewalk, in particular Home Studio, and Guitar Tracks, I wish to hold my tongue.

Wavelab and CoolEdit Pro 2.0 are what we used to record our entry to the "Canadian Songwriters Contest".

You might also check out Vegas Pro, suggested to me by a Bud who runs a studio in Brantford, Ont.

Cheers, Happy New Year !!!

Cool Edit Pro 2.0 is pretty good too. I'm sorry I didn't mention it.

I have an older version of Vegas that is killer!!!

For two track recording you can't beat Forge. Very simple to use and the plugins are superb!

Now thats some input I wanted to hear, THANKS

You see my Bud who suggested it spends the Winters in the Cayman Islands with his wife, on there boat.
So I have not yet tryed it out. I will in March when he's back.
Be interesting to see how this software is implemented in a "REAL" studio.

He actually uses all the software I mentioned, certain artists have preferences as I do.
Samplitude is another he uses, which I FORGOT to mention,LOL

Cheers
