CD Drive not reading disk?

Hey guys, I am having a problem with my CD Drive, it isnt reading the disks? I put a blank cd in there to burn and it usually lets me burn it, but I put it in, start up nero put all my tracks on there, then it says please insert blank disk? Well I go into exploror try to look and see if I can see if anything is on the disk and nope, its blank. So I tried a few different blank cd's and no luck

I was wondering if you thought it could be unplugged or lose inside the computer or what I should do? I tried to reinstall but that didnt work

I recently cleaned out my compy and it worked before & has been messing up since

im by far no pro tech or nuthin, but can u put a retail disk in there of some kind(game or sumthin)? if so and its readable its seems to me it would be a software problem, like i said could be wrong, maybe the laser is going out for recording?

maybe try a burn through windows media player to see if its the drive or software stuff?
