Windows Media Center & Dual Core CPUs

Does anyone know how well Media Center will handle Dual Core CPUs? Does it show up as two processors in the device manager? I would like to know for both AMD and Intel CPUs as I haven't used a copy of Media Center yet and would like to know for troubleshooting purposes for a computer I'm working on and for future encounters. I've tried looking on M$ site, but couldn't come up with anything. I even googled, but just got machine that are being sold this way. Thanks!

I should also add that I have yet to see the machine as I haven't received it yet. I'm just looking for a heads up on what to expect when looking at the settings and what not. Thanks!

there have been some of discussion, problems and workarounds that people have asked and answered in Windows Media Center newsgroup experts. i suggest you visit the newsgroup and search "dual core" and/or "dual processor".

here is the newsgroup address...
