Can't Install the intel chipset installation utility

i have an asus p4c800deluxe with i875p chipset
now i want install the new driver for the chipset but every installation of this driver finish immediatly and didn't install nothing
is a bad problem?

System Specs

i asked this same question in another thread..

I had this with the intel inf v7.2.2.1006 driver.Never had this with any of the previous drivers.

it means the is no new updates required for you're chipset.Kind of makes sense afterwards.

System Specs

Attempting to over-install the Intel update (auto mode) usually results in it hanging at 90%

If you really want to apply a later version, you have to just install the files in manual mode, then manually update the driver oin each cystem component, pointing it at the INF files created - before doing this, look in the file to see if it has any update .

It is rare that anything changes though, for components which are already supported.
