i just installed the latest omega drivers, and after reboot, it just reboots again as soon as it enters the login page from winxp
safe mode also gets the same result.
I tried booting from winxp cd, chkdsk from recovery console, no luck...
reset bios....

how can i disable the omega driver when starting up? i can't access my comp anymore
i have no clue anymore

The problem is not related to the video drivers, unless the registry got corrupted for some unknown reason during the last shutdown-restart and now the PC can't access the registry correctly. Try doing a recovery install of windows xp, that get's rid of any driver problems and corrupted files or registry.

uhm, how do i do a recovery install?

when i start from cd, when i press R i get the recovery console
when i hit install xp, i get a warning that theres already an xp installed
and then the option to format the partition
i have no repair option

i now installed a 2nd winxp, and am able to start from that ok
i also still have the old winxp install

what can i do now?
remove all references to the omega drivers?
clear all iomega entries inj the old register?

can you describe what i have to delete?

If I was you i'd backup all my data and do a fresh format. Nothing like a fresh install....
