These drivers do not claim to issue any speed enhancements.......and IMHO....they dont.
That's not what we really needed out of a driver release from ATi right now. The OpenGL slowdowns and AA problems I had been experiencing seem to have been successfully adressed, although I am having a problem with ROE, when I try changing resolutions in-game(which I hardly ever do). I'd also like to mention that I voted wrong on the poll. I thought we were voting on the CCC by itself(Dont ask me how or why) It's much too early to form an oppinion of these drivers right now. I've just moved from 5.3 to 4.10, and ATI realeases a new driver today. lol
does any one know if this solves the problem with crashing playing Act of War? since i formatted my pc i've installed 5.3 and i've experienced several crashes on games. Thought could be the PSU but since i've moved to 4.10 problem seems to be solved. And my experiences with VIVO was the same. blue screens, crashes with 5.3. I'll stick with 4.10 until next month :P

I gave them an 8/10 just because they still have the same problems as the previous versions : not being able to properly install because of old drivers. Ati should probably use some more time and optimize these settings, I got an huge performance hit when just installing directly instead of using the uninstall then drivercleaner pro rutine.
Also seems these drivers hurt a little performance wise on syntethic benchmarks but games plays more smoothly. |

Voting right now would give these drivers a 1. However, I will withhold my ballot and wait a reasonable amount of time for someone to help me with my Trackmania Sunrise issue in the main 5.5 thread.

Totally stable with all the games that i have played ![]() But i have a small feeling that Image Quality has been screwed a little compared to previous drivers

I downloaded and installed them yesterday. Gave them a 9. I played EverQuest for 6 hours and the game ran Smooth very smooth, IQ is sharp. All in all I'm quite happy with these drivers

I've been running these now for about a week. I have yet to encounter any problems.
I've been playing several different games, but, mostly SC:CT. The game is simply gorgeous from a graphical standpoint. Kudos to ATi for some really stable and high-quality drivers. ![]() (Apparently, the lack of responses shows that they must be pretty good. )

Gave it a 5. No speed improvements, and the ATi Control Center didnt work so I had to use other version.
