As long as we're talking about standard tweaks, are there any benefits/side-effects to overriding the pixel or vertex shader versions? And what is the Z compression mode?

Why not use Google there are tons of guides out there for these kinds of things, specifically getting the most out of your driver, and it would give you a better place to start on as you are asking for a broad range of info there.

that doesnt come up with any results.
anyways... you want to tweek for speed or quality. its your choice, but either way its simple to do. if you want speed turn down the quality. if you want quality raise it, but the speed will be much less. catch my drift. then if your using ATT, then its differnt because they dont have little sliders and you have to find out what is what. what is each 'standard tweak' mean? will it provide faster speed, or better quality, or better quality without looseing MUCH speed (i say much because its likly to impair speed at least alittle). so this is where many people have to trial and error, and only you can do this really. a better way to do this is to try 3rd party drivers, like omega drivers or extreamATI drivers. they do many of the tweeks for you, and you can then change the values if you want to go faster or look better, but they usually offer best of both worlds (offer some of each, not perfect all the time tho). you will have to do a search if you want more information, and forums are the only place to look. att might have a website you might want to search, rage3d.com and here you will want to search... but i doubt that someone will just tell ya what they all mean and what they do. if the world worked that way it would be nice. " ![]() anyways good luck.
